• Joseph Gallo Farms uses no artificial hormones on any of its livestock.  Joseph Farms is the first cheese producer in the nation to be granted governmental approval to label its cheese:  "NO ARTIFICIAL HORMONES."  Look for our "No Artificial Hormone" seal on every retail package. 
  

 

• Not all cheese is vegetarian, but Joseph Farms is!  Joseph Farms cheese products are free of animal-derived rennet used in the coagulation process in some commercial cheeses.  This production measure qualifies Joseph Farms cheese products to be "vegetarian" for ovo-lacto vegetarians.
  
  

• Joseph Farms does not use MPC (milk protein concentrate), casein or caseinates in any of the cheese products manufactured in our plant.
